I have a question. I would like to be able to set up a database for a client. I design web sites. I would like to add this to my services offered. How much should I charge for this? How much do you charge for regular web design? I would recommend adjusting your programming fees to two to three times more than web design. Customizing databases is highly labor intensive (especially since your projects may differ in terms of number of fields and added features that your clients may request).
