Fileman not fully functional
I installed Fileman on my server and it performs an add a new file fine. However, it will not build the bottom frame and allow me execute any other commands like search, upload, replace, etc. The lower frame remains blank.

The preferences function works and the lower frame appears as it correctly, however only some functions work, such as "Upload".

Here is the Environment detail:

Hi,

This usually means that the url to the images is wrong, and FileMan can't load the style sheet and images it needs.

Cheers,

Alex

Thanks for the reply. I checked the path and it appears correct. However, I noticed that some of the icons are not displayed as well. If I try to view any gifs in the icons folder I get an internal server error message. Could this be a permissions problem even though the error is not a permissions error? I have checked the permissions for all of the files and folders and it seems correct. If I copy the images folder to the HTML directory of the site then I can view the image.

[edit]Ooops, shoulda read the post better[/edit] Yes, the images need to be outside of the cgi-bin. Either re-install Fileman and point the images dir to a dir outside of the cgi-bin or move them manually and edit the config.

Charlie

OK, I've viewed this post with great interest as I am getting the same problem with images and the css files. The images files are in a directory off the root html folder, not beneath the cgi-bin. I suspect a permissions issue, but have tried to set them and still get no images. Everything else seems to work just fine.
