Win 2k "Data" directory
I am using a shared host which only permits me write access to my "data" directory. When I install Links 2.0, everything works fine except that in the default installation, the db/txt files are placed in my CGI-Bin directoy. What files do I need to modify to get Links 2.0 to look to my "data" directory rather than the cgi-bin directory where the links.cfg file is located? Also, I will need to tell Links 2.0 to look to that data directory when creating my pages.

Any assistance would be appreciated

while I appreciate your sarcasm, I do not see any definition in the links.cfg file for configuring the location of your ".db" files. I do not have the ability to change permissions to my pearl directory, so my .db files need to be in a different location than my cgi/pl files.

Am I missing something in the links.cfg file?

Look at the bottom of the file...like $db_link_name and also look for $db_lib_path...Paul was 100% correct in his response!

I said three words, two of which were giving you the answer, not sure why you thought I was being sarcastic.
