URGENT HELP!
Hi,
I've installed Links 2 onto my Win NT web space although whenever I go to admin.cgi it tries to download it.
It cant be anything to do with Permissions as they are automatically set on my web space.

Any help??

Download the file and read the ERROR message via a text editor...

Betcha you see something like Can't locate db.pl. Wink

Is your Perl shebang set to point to Perl?
#!path/to/perl.exe

Yes, you have to set the shebang in all of your .pl and .cgi files to point to Perl otherwise it's probably looking for it in the default Unix path of /usr/bin/perl and since it can't find it there, it assumes you want to download it. If you have access the NT command line, change to the admin dir of Links and type in "perl admin.cgi" If you see what looks like HTML, it's fine. If you see errors.. it ain't fine.
