Error with nph-build
I've set up links 2 to work fine on my NT webspace. Everything works execpt for build! Please help! I have left the admin area open:
http://www.netmag-rs.co.uk/cgi-bin/links/admin.pl

The pages directory is /cgi-bin/pages/

Looks like you got more problems than just building your site.

You need to set the $db_iis variable to 1 in the links.cfg file.

Try using .cgi rather than .pl for the file extensions...and if that doesn't work, make sure that your Perl path is correct, if that doesn't work, contact your hosting company.

It's an NT server, and therefor requires a .pl extension and no path to perl, but thatnx anyway!

Wrong! and Wrong!

NT can be configured to execute .cgi files. If you heard that from your ISP/Hosting Company, then you better start looking for a new one...because that is a big fallacy!

Also, to execute .cgi/.pl scripts in NT, there is a Perl path that is needed to execute files. I have posted this path many times in the DBMAN Installation Forum and in the Perl/CGI forum.

Best of luck getting it working.

Well, the other scripts all work, add.pl, search.pl etc and they don't have a path specified. The guy allowing me the webspace said that there was no need for the path to perl, as long as the file had a .pl extension.

Can you tell me what path you had to change, I am having the same problem and maybe I have overlooked what you overlooked. Thanks,
