You guessed it - 500 Internal Server Error, but...
The usual - I'm installing Links 2.0, I've triple checked all of the paths, I've triple checked, changed, and changed back all of the permissions, but I can't seem to get my SECOND copy of Links 2 working right. I've successfully installed one copy already and it works fine. I've read most of the 788+ topics on this subject posted on this forum. I've even compared what I did with the first copy I have running against the second copy that I'm TRYING to get up and running.

The first is located @ http://www.theologicallycorrect.com/cgi-bin/links
and the directory where the links will be created is http://www.theologicallycorrect.com/resources. It works FINE.

The second one is http://www.theologicallycorrect.com/cgi-bin/articles/links
and the director where links will be created is http://www.theologicallycorrect.com/articles .

Is there a hidden code somewhere that says 'NO MORE THAN ONE COPY OF LINKS PER SERVER' or something like that? And if that's the case, can someone recommend me a good program that will allow me to index all of my articles on my website with descriptions in an easy fashion ?

I am willing to let someone tinker around with it - please e-mail me privately at xarminian@theologicallycorrect.com?subject=links+installation. Thanks much. I'd like to have it up and running for the re-release of my site on Sunday afternoon.

Nope, no hidden codes...! I have done the same thing at my site (used a dupe of Links for articles), but it has not gone public, yet... You have the right idea, in changing a directory name. Just be sure to set them right in the second copy of links.cfg. You posted this:

Note that one says /articles/links, and the other just /articles.
