Unable to open... Error message
ujkWhen trying to "give it a test" I get an error message like

Error Message : unable to open /homepages/31/d16377604/htdocs/ostportal/links/admin/data/categories.db. Reason: No such file or directory
Script Location : /homepages/31/d16377604/htdocs/ostportal/links/ADMIN/admin.pl

I'm quite sure document root path is set correctly. The files and directories on my server do exist. Permissions have been set following the install instruction.

All *.cgi extensions have been changed to *.pl. Also within files.

My hoster does not require a special cgi-bin directory.

Can anybody advise what I have to do?

Thanks
Uwe.

*sigh*

AS the README File states, you have to change the permission of all files in the /data/ directory to 666 (rw-rw-rw-).

And you also need to have the /data/ directory set to 777 (rwxrwxrwx) as stated in the README file!
