Time/Local.pm
Installed Links 2 on a UNIX. I got the following error:

CGI ERROR
==========================================
Error Message : fatal error: Can't locate Time/Local.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/saintsimonscom/cgi-bin/links/admin /usr/lib/perl5/i686-linux/5.00404 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/saintsimonscom/cgi-bin/links/admin/links.cfg line 160.

Script Location : /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/saintsimonscom/cgi-bin/links/admin/admin.cgi
Perl Version : 5.00404

I saw this topic addressed in an earlier thread. The solution stated was to reupload the file, but I don't even have a file called Time/Local.pm. Where do I get this file?

Thank you

You need to contact your hosting company and ask them to upgrade the Perl package to 5.005, which includes the correct Local.pm file that you need for LINKS.

Where does this need to be exactly. I have loaded pearl 5.00502 and did not find the time/local.pm file in any of the load and I am the ISP but for the life of me I cant seem to find this one. I probably just missed it but any help as to where it is and the directory it should be located in is appreciated... all the pearl loaded into /bin and most of the programs into
/usr/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin
I really hate to appear dumb but the simple fact is - I am.. THanks Smile

The Local.pm must be in your modules directory where you installed the Perl package.
