Hello,

I am having a strange problem when trying to build pages. Using both the Build All, and Staggered options I get the following error.

Error Message : Unable to copy links backup. Reason: Permission denied

When I run the Staggered (Auto) the new directories and page do get built but the first phase of the auto proccedure shows the same error as above.

All build directories are cmoded 777, all files have been uploaded in ASCII, the paths both absolute and URL's are correct in the links.cfg.

Just can't seem to fiqure this one out. Please help if you can. I looked through the past messages and saw nothing that I have not allready checked or tryed.

make sure your /backup/ and /data/ directories are also 777.

I did that then got another error about the admin/data/hits permisions being wrong and ended up having to set the file admin/data/hits/index.count to 777 as well. I hope this is ok. I suppose the only problem there could be a security issue but since it is working now, it must be right.
