unknown category
Whenever i try to build the html for my search engine,
i get error like "unknown category"
i've checked the category data file, but i dun see any problem there.
A weeks ago, i also met this problem, but when I delete the
category which the nph_build.cgi stats that it is an unknown category, and later i re-add the category back,
and try to build, it shows no problem at all.
CAn anyone kind enough to tell me what the problem is...
and what is the possible cause?

A category actually
a category name computers_internet/companies/hardware.

I think someone might have modified the script, I'll try installing the original version and try to build the category again, and see whether this problem pesist.

Yes. The script just stop after it shows me "unknown category"

Alright, Actually I got the previous Links 2.0 from other place. CAn't recall where it is. It is a chinese version of links 2.0
I think someone modify it to chinese, and probably changed something in the script. Making the it bug full!

Now i install the original version of links 2.0. I
can build the pages with no problem. Thanks for your
attempt to help. I feel so guilty of using a modified script
that's is bug full and causes you trounble.

Where did you get the script???

Are you using it for commercial purposes? If so, you need to register it.

I think a friend of mine passed me the script. NOt sure who he is already, because I found this script in my backup drive and decide to test the script.

BEfore I register, I would like to make sure it works as
what I needed. IF not then I'll try Links SQL.

This is actually exactly my problem !

I do use a registered full version of Links 2.0.
I did some patches in order to customize my version and it was working very well several months.

But when I know do a "staggered auto" building, some categories are not build. Instead an Error ist reported, even though the necessary category data is 100% fine.

This is the script output:
** Building Category: Auskunft/Telefon ...
