I have looked through the FAQ, and searched the forums, but I can not find out why my rate.cgi doesn't rate anything. If I goto my temp site, click to rate a link, everything goes through, but no matter how many times people click on the rate button and rate the link, and however many times I rebuild, it still stays at 0 votes, with a 0 rating.

Strange.. I figured someone else would have encountered this problem in the past but maybe not.

Make sure that the ratings directory/folder in the data folder/directory is set to 777 (drwxrwxrwx).

Code:

chmod 777 ratings

In the future, TRIPLE check your permissions against the ones provided in the README file and also follow the target shooting tips in the README file before posting questions.
