nph-verify does not work
Hello,

using the nph-verify causes a browser error: "Server or DNS not found"...

What could be the reason for this error-message?

Most likely your server is currently down or your ISP does not have or allow LWP modules on their server. But the error message you posted indicates the former.

Actually, I believe it has something to do with the script being called nph, I have a script on my server that uses lwp and alls fine, but when I try and build with links, Ialso get the dns error, even though every other link works except anything with nph on it produces dns errors, any work arounds for this?

There are some codes that you can place in nph-*.cgi files that will allow you to execute them. I don't know the exact codes, but may be Alex can help you.

What are the codes? My other nph-*.cgi files work. Just not nph-verify.cgi

I click on quick or detailed check and all I ever get is the hourglas in MSIE, and Document contains no data in Netscape.

Nothing ever happens. No errors, no...nothing...

Please someone gimme some answer? i'm not stupid, I'm not blond Smile please?

Well, the problem then is that your server does not have the current LWP modules installed it!

Ask your hosting company to install the current build of Perl, which includes all the modules you will need to execute the various LINKS scripts, including nph-verify.cgi.
