new and pop in category explaination

new and pop in category explaination
In the category explainations, when 'new' or 'pop' is in the line it is somewhat not aligned horizontally with the text, its causing the text to have a large gap on that particular line or lines. Has anyone seen this and gotten it to stay even with the text line?

Where are you seeing this? In your regular links listing in categories or in your search results?

You will need to edit the links_result and links variables in the db.pl file, I think.

Eliot, yes im seeing this in my regular links listing in categories and on the link itself.
I took off the bgcolor for them in my .css
file but the plain words (new, pop) are elevated still. Ive seen it this way on many sites using Links, but for some reason its causing my explanation text to mis align. If you want, view..

The default for new and pop is a (superscript) tag which appears elevated (like a footnote notation in a book). If you don't want it elevated, you need to remove the tags from link.html and site_html_templates.pl.
