home.html template problems
Dear fellow links users,
As I browse some links sites I notice on their home.html page they have the category link in large letters, and below the category link instead of a description they have links to the subcategories in that category. Can someone please explain how this is done? Thank you very much.

Also I don't use the category tag in my home.html. I simply add them by hand to my main page. This is much easier and looks better than adding that tag.
Good Luck,
Paul

What is there not to understand?

If you don't use it then take it out, however you will lose the stats like how many links are in each category and new categories will have to be manually added.

It is just as easy to modify site_html_print_cat

That might be easy too, but I use front page and it is much more convinent to edit it ny hand. I don't care much for the stats and new cat.
