I'm not sure what's up !
I know when you install links to chomd the files in the data directory 666,

Well anyhow My data base went from 899k to 70 the other day thank god I back up.
When I went to upload the backup file I noticed that the links.db file was 664 ?
I uploaded my backup and set the settings back to 666
and went to the admin and hit build, Then refreshed my ftp client and the links.db file was again 664.

Is this normal or do I have a problem ?

Check the resource help center-----I think it's under FAQ's...the fix is there.

Well the files in the data directory should be chmodded to 777 so Links 2.0 can add data to them!

Actually...the directory should be 777, but the files (like links.db, validate.db, etc.) should be 666.
