Perhaps a silly question...
To be honest, I'm a newcomer to the world of internet development.

Is it unrealistic to expect to be able to use Perl scripts such as Links and UBB on a high traffic web site? (i.e. thousands of hits per day)

Thanks in advance!

For the links part depends upon how many links you have. If it is many then go with links sql.

As far as the bbs is concerned my own guess would be look at how many hits this bbs takes. I would think it should work on a high volume web site.

You could always ask the author of UBB your question.

Also, there is a LINK user who is currently developing a MySQL BB. I don't know if this user will release his scripts or not.

Regards.
