Ok,

I have the program up and running with the help of some fine GT staff (Mel & Jack, thanks) Now I want to put stuff in the header.

How do I do it?

What can I put in there? Text only? Pics? Hyperlink?

If inserting a pic, is this the entire tag I put in?

Would this work? What do I need to change on this above line to make it work? Do the quotes need to be made into singles instead of doubles? I'm guessing here.

Please supply me with one or two examples which I can just (cut & paste) or copy and change the pic, size etc. Which show me how to put add a picture into the header.

Now let me ask everyone a favor, I don't need a lecture on how Pearl works or the algorithm on how to burn solid rocket fuel for space flight.....just an easy example based on the tag above which can be copied and altered, please.

Now, if I wanted to add a hyperlink to that picture, a banner link, is that possible????

Here is a simple one I copied from FrontPage.....yes, I know FP :-( novice here.

Again, if this is possible to add a pic with a hyperlink, please supply me with a sample or TWO, of hyperlinks from pictures based on the tag above, which I can cut and paste right into the tiny little space provided in each category template.

Part Two Of This Tutorial Series.

Now that I have my fine picture/hyperlink tag line ready to insert into the header line on the category template....stay with me here......what else do I do to make that header/pic/hyperlink magically appear on my working web????????????????????????????

I know I have to do at least two things to make the header appear on ONLY the one category I have placed it in. NOT the entire web.

(1) Save the new category template with the TAG lin added.

(2) Build the web.

(3).....? Any Help?

Will what I place in the space on the category template appear on that page OR do I have to then do another step or 2,3,4 to make it appear. DO I need to upload or change anything else to make that new pic/hyperlink appear in the header?????

Please fill in the blank for me on any other steps, uploads, offerings to the gods, which I may have to complete before I can make a simple picture appear in the header on just ONE of the category link pages.
