Problem in adding data! Please help!
I have a problem in adding data.
The temporary site is located at http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/links/add.cgi

1) This type of question should be added to the appropriate Links 2.0 Installation Forum depending on the operating system of your server.

2) I was able to successfully add a link via IE 5.05. So, it is probably a problem with Netscape. Check your HTML codes in the ADD template files and ALL your template files for that matter.

3) Check to make sure that you have configured the following EMAIL variables in your links.cfg file:

Code:

$db_admin_email
$db_email_add
$db_email_modify
$db_smtp_server
$db_mail_path

If the problem is that you are NOT notified when links are added, then one of the above variables are improperly configured.

BTW: This has been addressed many times in the INSTALLATION forums. PLEASE search the Forums and Resources section of this site before posting questions.

Thank you.

Regards,

Eliot Lee

Yes I already set it.
If you can add why there's no data?
I cannot view nor modify and can't see it in what's new link.

Maybe you need to learn how Links2 works first.

You need to VALIDATE and RE_BUILD before links will appear in the directory and before you can view/modify links.

You need glasses Andy?

<%date%> is in almost all (if not all) templates.

AND that is what it should be....<%date%> NOT <%Date%>

That is the problem!
