Much Needed Feature
I have been using links for several months, and the biggest problem I have is those who
post the same addition 20 times or more. I would like a feature that disallows the exact same entry more than once and also have the ability to block some urls from posting again after they've been deleted. I have had some porno pages that keep coming back no matter how many times I delete them.

Also when validating the database, it becomes so large that it crashes my browser before I can download all the entries. I would like to have the validate function only show 25 or at the most 50 new additions at a time, and have a next function to download the next function. It's very hard working by myself to try and validate hundreds of urls at once, especially when people are spamming the directory and my browser crashes every time I try to do any validating. I have often had to delete the old database and start from scratch. Any new features to help in the validation process would be of great help for me. As it is I feel bad that I am unable to validate some of the legitimate sites being submitted. It's also hard to remember if something is a repeat entry, so the blocking of repeat entries would help a great deal.

Thanks for a great script....I just think these features are needed to make it more manageable.

The best thing I'd suggest you to do, is to upgrade your site to Links 2.0. Most of the features, that you wanted are included in Links 2.0. ! Smile!

Or if you stick with Links1.1, you can use my "BanUrls" mod which can be found at www.adultjump.com/links in the "Links Mods" section.
