Inexplicable background color in Netscape

Inexplicable background color in Netscape
Everything works fine in IE 5.5.

Everything looks fine at first in Netscape 4.7. But after the page is finished loading, it still seems to be churning on something. And then suddenly, the page background turns a kind of dark magenta. But not on the entire page. If I scroll to the right, it's white.

I've searched the page source for anywhere the background color might be getting set-- or ANY color might be getting set, for that matter-- and can't find where this color is coming from. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

My page is at http://www.gamereport.com/links

The problem is that you have NOT changed the background settings in the links.css file.

Change localhost to your domain name.

BTW: This has been discussed before quite a few times in this forum and in the Links 2.0 Customization Forum. Wink
