While adding several links today, someone added their own link during that same time. When I validated the link, I soon get an email saying that it was pointing to the wrong site. When i looked, there were 2 entries in the database that had the same ID number.
Is there a fix for this? Perhaps a way to "lock" a number when somebody starts to add a new link. Or maybe a way to change the increment of the ID number so they are say 5 digits apart rather than 1, making it less likely that 2 concurrent users will get the same ID.
I know this will happen again and I perhaps won't catch it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
