Hi all,

I want to add a field to a database of over 3000 links. I've seen talk of an upgrade.pl mod by bobsie, but cannot locate it anywhere.

Can i use the upgrade script supplied with linksV2 to add another | to every link in the links.db file??

Or can someone point me in the right direction of the upgrade.pl script by bobsie.

Well I just SEARCHED the customisation forum using the word 'upgrade' and I found the script straight away. Also there's another script that adds a field it's in the resource center and called 'adding additional fields to links.db....'

That is incorrect...The upgrade.pl script that comes with Links 2.0 and Links 2.01 is used to UPGRADE from Links 1.1 version to Links 2.0 OR Links 2.01.

As Glen mentioned, the "upgrade.pl" file is located in the Resource Center and posted in a number of threads in the Links 2.0 Customization forum.
