"+" character in category name

"+" character in category name
I'd like to create a category that has a "+" character in it. What do I have to modify? I can't seem to find any clue in the FAQ. Thanks.

Hmmm, it could be possable to write some code to convert some other character to a "+" when displayed, but it would be more trouble then it's worth. Personally, I would like to add a "&" in a few catagory names.

The reason this isn't allowed is because Links uses the category names as the path. Unix doesn't like the "+" character in directory names.

Try asking in the "Customization" forum, maybe someone there can help with a mod.

Use the Non-English Mod, which allows special characters like + to be printed in the Category pages.

BTW: Since this deals with a "customization" issue, you should post questions like this in the Links Customization Forum.

Same thing...Use the Non-English Mod that allows special characters (like &, commas, etc.) and accent marks in the printed Category name in the Category pages. How many more times do I have to post this suggestion??
