I had successfully installed this mod before but deleted all files later on the server. Now I would like to install it again. Unfortunately the install.cgi on widgetz's server doesn't work (I couldn't reach his server). I also couldn't open his site: http://www.widgetz.com/review/

Is there any manual installation instruction available or can I only automatically install this mod?

I get the following error messages when running install.cgi: Error! Can't retrieve review.cgi from widgetz.com! Try Again Later!

I have already templated my HTML files. I would only need a copy of these three files: review.cgi, review.def, reviewid.txt (At least I think so).

And I need to know the changes to make in site_html_templates.pl

You can also mail the files and I will upload them to my eurotango.org server so that everybody can download.

GREAT IDEA! Then also upload a manual instruction to install the review mod, because running install.cgi is only possible when widgetz's server is up; and when it is down we have a problem. Nevertheless it is one of the most interesting mods.

I just tried to install it manually, because I have saved the files to my disc before. When I'm running review.cgi, I get this error message:

You guys and gals are missing the point! Widgetz's Review Mod includes an automatic install of files FROM HIS SERVER to your server. Since his server is down...the Mod does not work. And I assume that other LINKS users are unwilling to post their copies of the Review Mod on another server.

I messed up review.cgi with detail.cgi
I can not upload review.cgi since widgetz server is down.
But if anyone can mail me detail.cgi I can upload it if you want.

Hate to be the turd in the punch (ok, that was gross), but you probably need to get Widgetz' permission to post his mods. If he wanted manual installation for review.cgi, he would have created it that way...

I said that I do not want to upload review mod since it would not be ok to do it without widgetz permission and since it would be lot of work to change everything so that it works on my server.
I asked whether someone can mail detailed.cgi and I would upload this mod since this mod has no instalation.cgi - but as I hear that even this would not be ok I understand and I would not do even that
But I still would be really happy if anyone could please give me this mod

I would, however, as I just stated to another user looking for the detail.cgi script...my version of detail.cgi is highly modded. And the original copy of the detail.cgi Mod that I saved in my hard drive was deleted when my hard drive crashed a month and half ago.
