I want to have submissions from submission services but this does two things it overloads what is new then I have to validate a whole lot of sites and illiminated the porno sites and the spam. So my question is two things can I have the submissions come in alphabetical order will this slow the submissions down to 200 say at a time and is there a filter so one can filter out spam and adult sites?

yep. there are filters out there, db reffer ... refer url, check the resource center, you have different options on how to filter out addtions from onsite submissions, submitting from outside ... don't know, haven't gotten that far on what I'm doing but I wonder if these will still not help you someway or another.

alphabetizing your valadation links -- hmmm, sorry can't help on that. why? to make them look nice?

good luck

I want to alphabetize the submits to slow down the submission it over loads the script. Anyone can you help me find a way to slow down the submissions when I get a large amount of submissions.

You could limit the number of submissions per day... Set a maximum number of submissions, get the current date, load validate.db into arrays, run a loop to split each array into fields and increment a count of the number of links submitted for that particular day. Once the limit has been reached, you can prevent any more submissions.

You could also run the bulk-load mod to just import validate.db directly to links.db.
