Subcategories through 2 different roots.
There is a category of links that i would like to be accessible two different ways, e.g. through

/graphics/bannergraphics/

and

/banner_resources/bannergraphics/

how can i make it so that both of the directories show the same set of links. I know i could make two sets of links however this is not ideal because i want the reviews to be access from wherever the link is?

Perhaps this could be done with a javascript redirect, i guess this must be hardcodeed but does anyone have any other ideas?

Yes i have, just found that, really cool.

I can use it to do what i want but if there are like 50 links in the category it is a pit of a pain but will do for now.

Thanks

With the Alt Category mod installed, it is now certainly possible to modify your nph-build.cgi to do the cross referencing for you. I have begun to do some of this in a very limited way on my site. The logic is essentially:

1. on add or modify link, reset Alt Category to "".
2. if condition x is met, then
if Alt Category="", then
set Alt Category="X", else
set Alt Category=Alt Category & "|X"
3. Repeat step 2 for each Alt Category you want to automate...

I see what you mean, the only slight disadvantage of this would be the extra size of the link.db if you have a lot of links.

There is another solution that widgetz brought to my attention.

for details, i have not installed it yet but will do
