I was wondering if adding the HTML in the "Search in category" in the detail search template, along with the widgetz search in category mod, would be enough to get the search option seen in your search page:

http://vlib.anthrotech.com/bin/search.cgi

Or should there be some additional changes made in search.cgi too?

My second question is how do you search links with reviews only as you've done on your site?

You probably noticed by now that I've bookmarked your great site and use it as a reference whenever I go mod shopping

Adrian, I don't know about Eliot, but I search for links with ratings or with ratings & reviews on my site with the range search mod I contributred earlier this year. You will need to have already implemented the mod described by Widgetz in the very long 101 post thread on review.cgi which brings the number of reviews over from the review.db into the links.db... if you need assistance with this, you may want to email me.

1) Yes...That is all I did...Since I have only 15 main categories in my Directory, I do not feel the need to expend energy in making that list dynamic...however, it can be done using the &category_list sub and &build_clean sub in the db_utils.pl file.

2) All I did was added an input field for my Site Reviews, which is based on a field called isAward. This works fine for admin reviews, however, with public reviews like Widgetz Mod, it won't work that nicely.
