Links looks different in IE and Netscape
My page looks different in IE and Netscaped. In netscape it appears unjustified.

Here is the link to my site:

If anyone could help me correct this problem it would be apreciated.

It is not an issue of Links. That's because HTML (and style sheets, and DHTML, and JavaScript, and... and...) looks different between IE and NN. You should be able to find on the Net a good reference of basic HMTL compatibility between the browsers. And, if you are serious about your web site, you do compatibility testing <yourself> for major browsers. Don't trust otehrs to tell you what works and what doesn't.

If i take my links code out of my template and put it on a blank code...just the links code is on the page...I still get the same problem. The problem resides somewhere in the links scripts...not my html. I am just not sure where in the links script the incompatible Netscape code is. If someone could help me with this it would be great.

Also of note is if there is no "new" besides the catergory in links then the justification problem disappears so i would tend to think it has to do with this part of the script that adds the "new". Either way when there are no "new" comments beside my categories everything appears correctly.

In terms of the category layout, you need to edit the HTML CODES in the sub site_html_print_cat routine in the site_html_templates.pl.

oldmoney is very accurate...It is HTML codes that you need to edit, but in terms of how categories are laid out in tables, you need to edit the routine mentioned above.

BTW: There is a FAQ in the Resource Center that addresses this type of problem.

thanks again for the answer and i agree that it is the html code but it is the html code in links. Does anyone know how to make that protion of links compatible with both browsers? I have seen it done on sites using links however the version you download is not compatible with both browsers. If someone could assist me in correcting this code it would be appreaciated.
