LWP
How does I find out, if LWP is installed on my machine?

Is there a test for that?

Is there a possibility to run the altavista - search mod without that?

Thanks, Chris

You'll need LWP in order to run that script.
You just have to put the LWP directory in the same directory with your script. It's pretty easy. You don't actually have to *install* anything.

Widgetz wrote a program a while back that you can use to see what perl modules you have installed. go here http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...ust&Number=50936 to get it.

Hmm...Jeffo, it would be great if you shared with us how you actually installed LWP. I was under the impression that the hosting company must upgrade their perl package? If this isn't the case, please do share what the best way to do this! I've been waiting for about 3 months now for them to install it without any luck! Thanks.

It took me longer to figure out how to post to this forum than it did to figure out that you just drop the LWP into the script dir. If you need to locate it, try searching cpan. ;)
