Is it ok to have html in a field like description? It seems to be kind of working but I don't want to put it in the live site because I remember having a problem with html in the past.

Is there a way to create a field where html will not mess anything up?

I use it for some of my category descriptions and also link descriptions. Straight HTML codes are not a problem. However, using javascript or other codes will cause problems.

I use HTML in some of my fields with no ill effects, particularly in the Editor Review (which is a field).
