For Eliot Lee - Changing Time
Dear Eliot,

I posted a thread asking how I can change the Links Time instead of using Server Time, I would like to set Link Time running 8 hours more than the Server Time.
Thomas from japanreference.com told me that your code is no longer available.
I finally find the thread at http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...=25&Old=allposts.

I try to go to http://www.anthrotech.com/cgi/links/faqs/time/ but it's really no longer available.

Can you tell me how to do this.

That's correct and as thomas1 stated to you and as I have stated quite a few times in this forum...the modifications I've written for Links 2.0 and DBMAN 2.04 are NO LONGER available. I am also not writing any more formal or complex modifications for these applications. I am willing to post quick set of codes or provide suggestions in the Support Forums, but anything beyond that I am unwilling to do.

I would prefer that you did not do this. But if you can come up a similar modification that does basically the same thing without using the exact codes I wrote, then feel free to publicly post the modification.

Thomas, I appreciate your help in near future.
I need to change links time because the server time is running 12 hours less than my local time, this will make me very confuse when I make the search engine to the public, I record (remote ip, remote server ip, remote host domain & remote domain) in every add, modify, tell a friend, tell a friend 2, and more due to spammer and better security.
