Urm I know this sounds stupid but where do you change the script so that all sub catagories are chmod correctly, currently they are set at 777, but with nobody attribute.

Your server may set the owner to nobody if a script creates the directory... this is a function of your server OS and not links. One solution is to create the directories yourself (Links does test for the existence of directories before creating them)...

oldmoney is correct about the ownership of files, but I have some easier suggestions rather than manually creating your sub-directories:

1) Change the permission of your main LINKS non-cgi directory to 777. If you are building from the ROOT directory, then change the index.shtml or index.html file to 777.

2) Use telnet to build your directory...Why?

a) Faster.
b) Retains admin account ownership of files.
c) Uses less CPU and server resources.
