Anyone works with ADMIN PASSSWORD MOD ?
Hello, I'm new in CGI. My link 2.0 works, but, I don't know how to protect my admin directory. I follow the instruction in http://www.i01.de/webmaste3.htm for my password protection, but it doesn't work. So, I would like to ask you if any person works with ADMIN PASSSWORD MOD of midwet? Please answer if you did, and what's problem may happen for that addon.
Thanks in advance.

Besides, you are really, really an active helpful person. God, I've tried many forums, but only in this forum I can have the quicly response in among hundreds of topic. Luckily for people like me , who's new, to have a warming response from the helpers.

By the way, I have another question. Is it possible (I read the Faq about building pages out of main root, but they share the same root, so it's not same with my question) to build a link 2.0 out of main root? For example, if I have http://www.mydomain.com with /home/root1/ and I want to build link 2.0 with Home in root1 , but pages and categoy in http://sub.anotherDomain.com/links/ . (Sorry, my first domain is just limited space, so I have to build link in subdomain because I think it will require much space). Is it possible?

If your sub-domain is in the same account like the following:

<ROOT>/SUB/

and the URL would be:

http://SUB.ACCOUNT.COM/

Then, yes...you can do that. All you would have to do is specify the $build_cat_url and $build_cat_path variables to point to the sub-domain.

If the sub-domain is another account you have and located in another server entirely, then NO, you cannot do this Mod.
