A couple weeks ago I made arrangements with one of the moderators of this board, ThatPerson, Drew from camelsoup.com, to do a Links2.0 customisation job for me.
We exchanged several emails about the job and he was keeping me updated, then.................NOTHING. It's been I think a week now, no replies to any of my emails.

Is anybody friendly with him? I don't want to criticize him if he's sick or he's had some emergency that he can't respond.

Please let me know if u have any news on Drew.

I regret to have kept you in the dark on this situation. I've been fighting some serious personal issues these past few weeks but I thought I would be able to cope and take on new projects. That just didn't work out. I feel too overwhelmed with everything I'm going through right now to do much more than answer a few posts.

I have not just ignored your emails alone; I have not read/responded to email from anybody in the past week in an effort to cut down on the pressure/stress.

I'm officially taking a leave of absense from the forum and from completing/taking on new projects for an undetermined time. I'll be spending my time sorting out my problems and trying to remedy them.

I hope you'll understand and be willing to forgive me for not telling you what was going on.

Ok Drew. That explains it. That's why in my post I just didn't say "Drew sucks he flaked on me". I didn't get the feeling you were that type of person so I figured maybe you had a family or personal crisis.

Take care of yourself. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life you need to see somebody, a professional. MILLIONS of people do.

we exchanged emails about you doing the job before I contacted Drew.

If u don't remember, the customisation I wanted revolved around me wanting numerous new added fields in different subcatagories.

If u can't do it, do u have a recommendation for someone who can? Maybe a regular around here.

If not I gotta go to one of the freelance programming sites but i'd rather use Links instead of some guy starting from scratch.
