Do anyone got mod for prevent user being cheat the hits?


I think add a cookie when the user hit the URL first time and set that cookie after 6 hr to expire.

If the user hit the URL and the cookie still exist, the hit don't count,
else count++

Would any genius code the addon to jump.cgi?

Actually it's already in jump.cgi. It won't count a second hit from the same IP address within 6 hours.

Has that always been there, or is it something new? There are a couple people on my "What's Cool" page that I'm a little suspicious about.

What about this... Everyone has their own site bookmarked in their "favorites" folder. What if someone sets the link to their jump ID at my site, instead of the actual URL? Will they get credit for the hit?
