Edit Admin Add Links Form
I have been looking everywhere in the code and I just can't find it.
I would like to edit the add a link form in the admin panel so I can
set the default fields to make it easier to add a new link. What I want
to do is permanently set a fake email address, change "Is New" to Yes and set
"Receive Mail" to No. Can you tell me where this can be done and in what file?
Thanks.

To add a fake email address use

<input type="hidden" name="...." value="....">

To set recieve mail to no I think you'd just need to look and alter that field in links.def

Good Luck!

Thanks for the response. Can you tell me which file I need to edit to add the code you supplied for the
fake email address? I just can't find where I'm suppose to put this.

Ok. I figured it out. You don't need to add the code supplied above, I just added a fake email address
to the "Contact Email" line in links.def and it worked. Thanks again for your help.

This is one possibility, I think a better and more flexible way is to add in add.html (in template directory or in the admin.cgi-tool) the items listed on top.

So you can change these things very quickly and you can set fields to an auto-value (hidden or not-hidden) without touching the main-configuration.

I have added this also for Priority-Link with different Links in Home- or Category-Template

I was going to mention actually if you were not going to use the email address you could just delete the field.

Good Luck!
