I want from jump.cgi and rate.cgi so that when I hit or rate a link the page on it is placed auto update

Way too intensive for a flat file system...it would consume a lot of CPU (server resources) and memory. Not recommended...much easier to do with a relational database and more robust system like LINKS SQL.

Thanks. I understand it but in my catalog is there no many categories and links and moreover it's possible don't update link db - only one page update based on information of rates (hits) and current rates in link db. And I don't have access to SQL db on my server.

Again, to "dynamically" update the links.db file would be server resource intensive...I really don't know how to make this more clear to you...no matter HOW you use the updated data, it will be intensive for a flat file system like LINKS 2.0.
Yes, it could be possible, but if you are on a virual server, I wouldn't be surprised if your account is closed down in a few weeks to month if you try to implement this type of modification.
