Initial setup?

Initial setup?
Things are a little tight with the business right now, but I decided to go ahead and get GossamerMail anyway. =) That would be great if you guys could process my order as soon as possible, I hopefully want to set it up for early next week. For the time being, could someone please tell me what I have to do to the server to get it ready for the installation (i.e. mail settings or anything else)?

Thx

It depends on how you are planning to use it.

You shouldn't have to do anything in terms of getting it set up however you may need to create a catchall account in you are using the shared mailbox option.

Ok, this is what I will probably be doing and I guess this is what I was referring to.

So would I set up the mail on the domain so anything@kaazoo.com would be forwarded to mail@kaazoo.com? (or something similar)

With this set up, do people "have" to use the web browser to check their mail? i.e. can they still use an e-mail client to check their mail with this setup?

I don't think that they can check their email using an email client with that method because all email goes to one address and incoming.pl parses the emails into seperate boxes to be viewed from their browser.

Yes you would set it up so that anything@yourdomain.com went to the catchall account.

Ok, that is just what I wanted, if the people have to check their e-mail through their browser, they will generate more page views at the site. =)
