eventually ill run out of space on my server and i can mount more drives as /home2 /home3 etc... how can gmail handle more drives to ensure that i can continue to grow with gmail down the road?

Hi,
Yes, you can do this a couple of ways:
1. Use raid to create a larger drive array, and put the data directory onto the raid array.
2. Symlink off sections of the data directory onto different drives.

Hi,
One method or the other (although I suppose you could use both combined if you needed to, i.e. have two raid arrays, with data split between both, probably not what you want though).
