Undeliverable mesages
Hi All,

Be warned...:) As my G-Mail is not actually "live" as yet... I had not checked the undeliverable messages...

but when I did there were 890+ !!

a locally delivered ISP test email to a non-existent UserID was undeliverable. and the message was processed every time incoming.pl was run(cron).

Dave

PS; Does some on have G-Mail up and running live somewhere? Would love to have a look...:))

Hmm, strange. The incoming.pl never sends out emails, and it deletes mail off of the server so you should never see a mail loop. Are you sure there wasn't a misconfiguration in the mail server settings causing a loop?

Cheers,

Alex

I'm having this problem as well. I realised that
1) if a user registered as abc@mydomain.com, and if someone send him a mail with Abc@mydomain.com then you'll get this problem and when I logged in tho that email account that poor guy was spammed with hundreds of duplicated Email with no content. In fact I'm deleting hundreds of duplicated undelivered Email at the admin screen everyday.

2)As I tried to delete the hundreds I got this message

Webmail: Can't unlink msgdata file: /usr/home/dotmy/usr/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin/webmail/data/msgs/j/junk/ (Is a directory)

Just be patience my friend. GT is a reputable company and have never let me down so far. So let's wait for another month.

Alex,

Is this a setup problem at our end...?

A "delete all" option in the undeliverd screen would be good if it isnt..:)
