i donīt have the perl version. i only can install 5.04000 .... can i install the mailprogramm with this version. What i must change?

No, you will need at least 5.004_04 to use Gossamer Mail. Older versions have several memory leaks, performance and security issues. It's in your best interest to run a newer version (5.004_04 is over 4 years old).
