Gossamer Mail on RackShack.net server?
Has anyone had any experience with running Gossamer Mail on a RackShack.net server?

They have 1GHz AMD servers with 512 MB of ram/40 GB HD and 300 GB of transfer per month (Yes 300, not 30) for $99.

I just leased one the other day to host some client web sites on. The web access seems fast but the FTP is a little slow.

If you've tried running Gossamer Mail on one of their servers please let me know your experiences.

Thanks,

Jeff White

We have a rackshack dedicated AMD 1.0ghz 512mb 40gig HD and running GMail, LinksSQL, VBulletin, many others but we did not use the generic setup with a plesk or ensim console. We hired a Linux admin (I know NT not Linux) to rebuild the machine from scratch using Redhad 7.2 and Apache. He compiled everything from scratch and did not use prepackaged code. So far it is running quite fast but it is still all in the development stages at this point so I don't have a long track record with them yet.
