Hi,

You're too quick. =) It's not out yet, but should be very soon.

Cheers,

Alex

Action Dropdowns (top and bottom)

Say a user selects SPAM on top dropdown, and scans through the long list of messages checking each of the suspected spam messages and then when he reaches the bottom of the page he just hits the go button (with default being Delete there) --> all messages gone. Could the same option be automatically there on both drop downs?

On the Help Pages where there are bookmarks, can there be a navigation to "Top" added so that one does not have to scroll back?

Is AR being discontinued in GMail?

Sorry for early comments but still :-)

Few More:

On IE, while on Ajaxed Folder Section (looks like it is though could be wrong), The following are not hyprlinked:

Apply Filters : Empty : Delete Duplicates

These links show up fine on FireFox (1.5)

on page=help.htm
the logo brings back to login screen (login.cgi)

Spell Check in IE starts navigating away from the compose page ... at least that's what pop up says. Works fine in FireFox.

Thanks

Well I've been playing with the demo and all I can say is that it already looks old.. Still no IMAP support? Nowadays this is just crazy... And the interface looks nice but if you just compare it with the AJAX magic of Google Mail well...
Sorry for the criticism but I really expected something better (IMAP support above all) Unsure

Thanks

It probably could be done, but is it worth the extra code? I think it's pretty obvious that the selected option at the bottom there says Delete and is separate from the top one.

Will do.

No, it's just been turned off in the demo. I'll see if we can get it enabled.

Gossamer Mail as a client or a server?

Without essentially creating two versions of the frontend (one regular and one AJAX based), we can't provide the browser support that we want Gossamer Mail to support. Remember that two frontends means two sets of templates that everyone (the admin and us) has to design and maintain - that's a lot of work.

Hello,

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/perl/gforum/gforum.cgi?post=273218

Little did we realise that we cannot do any more testing (and bug reporting) till 175 is paid up for so quitting on bug reporting for the time being :/

Thanks
