I am doing de setup , Incoming mail, and there is a field named APOP, what is this for?

I believe that is used to specify a pop3 email account.

Yes APOP is secure pop3. You don't need to use it really.

If you are unsure, leave it unchecked as your mail server must support it. APOP basically means your pop password is not sent across the net in plain text, rather it's encrypted.
