[BUG Database Integrity]

[BUG Database Integrity]
Hello Alex!

There seems to be something not OK with the database what the scripts actually does and what it displays.

There are many messages that I have deleted through the admin button empty folder but they appear in the table. I could identify them through

msgs_mid <> msgdata_filename <> msgs_sent_to

The internal links are not correctly showing or deleting the entire file.

On a large database, there is no possibility to control over those things.

Hence it would be helpful if there is a database verify routing in there that goes all over the entries and deletes them.

Hi,

You shouldn't make changes via MySQLMan unless you are sure of what you are doing, as that can lead to database corruption.

Cheers,

Alex

Hello Alex!

The above happened when I used "Empty all messages", the new from the admin to delete the trash completely. Those are the messages which are hanging there.

MySQL man I did not use.

Hello Alex!

How did you came out with the idea that I used MySQL Man?

I did not!!!

And this remained in your head since many months leading to wrong assumtions.

Viewing and Using are correct English terms I have used.

I use PhpMyADmin and MySQLMan to VIEW the database in General, but never ever used MySQL Man for modifications and there is a different use of explaination of NULL and NOT NULL in the two, what I understood.

Hi,

I'm not sure what to say to this as without access to your admin and your data, I can't see what's going on.

Cheers,

Alex
