Sender confirms they're not spammer
How about integrating a sender-confirmation spam-blocker system, like the one below:

Quote:
Reminder:

You recently sent email to my Mailblocks spam-free email service. (If you didnt
recently send a message to me, please see the Note below*.)
Because you have not yet confirmed yourself, your messages still
have not been delivered.

It's simple. To prove your message comes from a human and not a
computer, go to:
http://app1.mailblocks.com/confirm2.aspx?

Here is a list of the email messages you have sent that are in my
Pending folder waiting for your quick authentication:

Sent: Deletion Time: Subject:
---------------- --------------- -----------------------------
Apr 18, 11:40 PM Apr 22, 11:40 PM <subject padding>

Please note if you have not confirmed by the deletion times shown
above, your messages will automatically be deleted.

*Note: If you did not send the above message to me, and you would like to
report this email as unwanted, please notify Mailblocks by going to:
http://app1.mailblocks.com/didnotsend.aspx?
We will ensure that you do not receive any further notification regarding the
above message. Mailblocks investigates all reports made using this link.

Re: [wickedmoon] Sender confirms they're not spammer In reply to
Challenge response is a bad idea, I refuse to ever click the link to confirm, I don't care who it is. If everybody used it, email would not be very efficient.

I put this message on my forum on the lost password page and similar ones on other parts of my site that send mail.

Note: If you use challenge response e-mail spam blocking, you will need to put our domain ptcruiserclub.org on your white list before you request your password or you will not receive it. We do not reply to challenge response requests.

Why Challenge-Response is a bad idea

Maybe others will be able to answer your question. I don't mean to offend you, I just wanted to share my opinion.
Spam is a huge problem, hopefully there will be a way to resolve it in the near future. I currently use Mailwasher Pro and it is very helpful.
