mylinks.cgi
Hi,

I've spent some time looking for the code of this script for the Links SQL version. Would someone be able to provide me with some information about this mod by Jerry Su?

Thanks again.

As far as I know there isnt a MyLinks mod for LinksSQL, only for Links2 but this isnt available anymore.

The forum.cgi is a script used for a BULLETIN BOARD script that integrates with the LINKS SQL User options and modules.

Search this forum for forum.cgi and you should find Threads discussing this particular Modification.

I just downloaded mylinks.cgi from Jerry's server and uploaded it to mine, chmodded it to 755 and it gave me an Internal Server Error.

Re: mylinks.cgi In reply to
it shouldn't return a internal server error..

that means its your problem.. not mine.. 1) perl path.. 2) you downloaded weird.. 3) you messed it up.. 4) you did something..

as you saw.. it ran on my server (source.jerry07.com) without the links files even being there.. it returned the software error page.. which is what its suppose to do when CGI::Carp is fatalsToBrowser..

Re: mylinks.cgi In reply to
Nope .....still an internal server error.

I downloaded the code properly, uploaded it in ASCII, chmodded to 755, uploaded all templates to the "templates" directory.

Path to perl is 100% correct.

Any other reasons?

This will work with NG right?

AHHHHHHHHHH.....pain in the ass.....forum.cgi is giving me an error too!

All my other cgi is working fine!

I made a Links2 links.cfg configurator today and that works fine also!

Re: mylinks.cgi In reply to
forum.cgi and mylinks.cgi were written for Links SQL v.1.X...you will have to hack both for them to work with LINKS SQL NG. If you are attempting to run these scripts with LINKS SQL NG, then they will not work.
