Conversion from Perl Script
Hi there:

We are a non-profit organization that have been using the links 2.0 perl scripts for over a year. We're pleased with how it's worked so far but recently it has gotten a little buggy. The 'new links' link doesn't seem to work anymore, I'm not sure why.

Anyway the reason I'm writing is to see if it is possible to convert the database over to the sql version with the php frontend. Our server has mysql and php4 installed - will this be sufficient? And is there an easy way to import our current data into sql tables?

Also - what would the costs be? Is the sql link script also free for not for profit organizations?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Included in Links SQL is an import script that will import all your existing Links 2 data. The total cost is $US450 which includes installation and importing your data for you (but if you ever need to do it yourself, it can be done straight from your admin panel).

Cheers,

Alex

Any discount for a non-profit organization? You were nice to give the links 2.0 for free since we are a non-profit - how about a free upgrade?

Hi,

Sorry, no, at this time we don't offer a free version of Links SQL.
