looking at the build options links sql offer, i like to know after the first build is there any reason why i should use build all over build changes?

If you make a change to a template HTML or other part of the page that doesn't involve the Links date. An "update all" will be needed. But of course, if you don't touch the templates, then a "build changed" is all you need.

Also, I'm not sure if 'Build Changed' updates the Hits for all the links. If you want all the Hit numbers to be accurate, I think you have to use 'Build All', I could be mistaken though.

You can also use "repair tables" which is pretty fast. That will reset all the dates and counts properly. If you use "dynamic" sites, you need to do this daily, to keep the "new" tags working right.
