Yahoo Sub Cats

Yahoo Sub Cats
I installed this, and it works just great :)

Two things, though. (I've only tried SUB0)

1) It should allow for the description of the category to be placed either before or after the SUB0 or SUB1 tag. There are several ways to do that, and I haven't looked enough to do it.

2) It should allow this line:

$len!=0 and $description.=',';

to be modified as a user variable, so the $description.=',' is changed to

$len!=0 and $description.=$separator;

Where separator can be set in the config options, such that it can be ',', ', ' or even ',<BR>'

I have got this to work fine for me so can't help.

I would like to suggest that an option instead of limiting by characters would be number of links. I would prefere to just have 4 sub-categories listed as opposed to 100 characters worth.

You don't use <%SUB0%>

Read the instructions!!!

Just put SUB0 or SUB1 into your Category _DESCRIPTION_

Click "HELP" on the plug-in menu after you install it.

I agree that the directions for enabling this plug in were sketchy but I did manage to get it working with help from this forum. Only problem I have is using the AV style template, the subcat font size does not respsond to changes made in the plugin settings. I've looked at home.html and can not see where there is a CSS overriding it. Any ideas?
